At Eurovision Services, we are looking for independent freelancers available for short-term, project-based assignments, activated according to production needs to support live sports productions delivered from our Production Hub in Madrid.
About our Production HubOur Madrid Production Hub is our new broadcast transmission center, developed together with key sports partners to deliver live coverage of major international sporting events, using the latest broadcast technologies and workflows across the full transmission-to-production chain.
How will we collaborate?Collaborations are offered:
Per assignment / per project, without exclusivity
For specific production periods (e.g. peak activity, major events, short-term operational needs
Freelancers remain fully professionally and organizationally autonomous and may collaborate simultaneously with other clients.
What profiles are we looking for?
Video Quality Specialist / Video Shading Engineer
Audio Quality Specialist / Audio Systems Engineer
Depending on the production setup and role requirements, assignments may require onsite presence in Madrid. If you have experience in any of the roles above, please find the technical standards below!
MCR Operator
Knowledge of SMPTE ST 2110 workflows
Knowledge of HDR-SDR conversion systems and QC workflows
Familiarity with network infrastructure and broadcast equipment (video routers, waveform monitors, vectorscopes, etc.)
Ability to quickly identify and isolate technical issues, including redundancy switching and failover mechanisms
Experience with automation and playout systems
Basic troubleshooting skills for encoding, decoding, and contribution feeds
Ingest Operator
Experience with SMPTE ST 2110
Solid hands-on experience with EVS XT/XS-Via and IPDirector
Strong knowledge of encoder production formats
Experience with FTP and Aspera file management
Experience configuring and managing live signal ingest
Understanding of audiovisual storage formats (MXF, DnxHD, MP4, H.264, etc.)
Proficiency with Adobe Premiere, Adobe Media Encoder, IPDirector, and DaVinci Resolve
Video Quality Specialist / Videoshading Engineer
Knowledge of SMPTE ST 2110
Experience with HDR/SDR conversion workflows
Hands-on experience with video level measurement tools (waveform and vectorscope monitors)
Proficiency in video shading parameters and operation of CCUs and camera RCPs (Sony, Grass Valley, Panasonic, etc.)
Understanding of camera lenses and their effects (aberrations, distortion, flare).
Audio Quality Specialist / Audio Systems Engineer
Knowledge of SMPTE ST 2110 and Audio over IP protocols
Solid experience with Dolby E or Dolby Atmos (encoding, decoding, mixing)
Proficiency in audio mixing techniques, loudness standards, and A/D, D/A conversion workflows
Experience with Dante audio tools and LAWO environments (HOME apps, V)
Familiarity with DSPs and virtual mixers.
