OVERVIEW
The Learning Coach (LC) plays a central role in supporting Learners’ academic and personal development. This position is adecuado for individuals with a university degree who are passionate about education, mentorship, and youth development.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Learner Coaching & Development
- Conduct weekly coaching sessions focused on goal setting, academic progress, and personal growth.
- Develop structured, goal-oriented coaching plans tailored to individual Learner needs.
- Monitor Learner progress in academic studies and Real-Life Experience (RLE) projects, offering timely guidance and support.
- Provide continuous feedback to Learners to help them stay aligned with their goals.
Relationship Building & Communication
- Build strong, empathetic relationships with Learners to foster trust and motivation.
- Facilitate effective communication with Parents and internal teams through meetings and regular updates.
- Maintain open communication with the ALC and Regional Manager regarding Learner development and Hub operations.
Community Engagement
- Organise and lead community events, Learner gatherings, and workshops to promote collaboration and engagement.
- Encourage peer learning and knowledge-sharing among Learners and Course Managers.
Academic Oversight
- Oversee exam-related processes including preparation, tracking progress, and strategy discussions.
- Manage enrolments, request extensions, and coordinate with the Exams Department to resolve Learner and Parent inquiries.
Hub Presence & Environment
- Maintain an active presence in the Hub to foster a positive, safe, and productive learning atmosphere.
- Ensure the Hub remains clean, comfortable, and conducive to collaboration.
Reporting & Alignment
- Prepare and review Learner Sprint Reports, reflecting on progress, challenges, and next steps.
- Stay informed about company processes, communication channels, and uphold organisational culture, policies, and code of conduct.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- University degree
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to build trust and rapport with young Learners.
- Organised, proactive, and goal-oriented mindset.
- Comfortable working in dynamic, collaborative environments.
- Proficiency in digital tools, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), email platforms, and other educational or productivity software.
