At G+D, we are looking for a Cloud DevOps Engineer to join our Business Cloud Services team, working on an infrastructure‑as‑code driven Platform‑as‑a‑Service (PaaS) hosted on Microsoft Azure and AKS, enabling highly secure, scalable cloud‑native services for central banks and payment providers worldwide. You will work in an international Scrum team with colleagues based in Spain, Germany, and India, contributing to the design, deployment, and operation of mission‑critical cloud platforms.
Your Responsibilities
Together with the Business Cloud Services team, you will design, deploy, and operate a cloud‑native Kubernetes PaaS platform on Azure, ensuring high availability, security, and operational excellence. Your main duties include:
1. Drive cloud‑native automation and self‑service capabilities, ensuring platform security, availability, and disaster recovery readiness
2. Design, operate, and continuously improve Kubernetes clusters and PaaS environments on Azure / AKS
3. Collaborate closely with development teams on deployment strategies, operational requirements, and platform integration
4. Review and maintain infrastructure‑as‑code configurations, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud‑native deployments
5. Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
6. Implement and operate infrastructure‑as‑code solutions using Terraform, Helm, and Ansible
7. Manage containerized workloads and orchestration across cloud‑native environments
8. Set up, operate, and enhance monitoring, logging, and alerting stacks using tools such as Prometheus and Grafana
9. Coordinate with support teams on platform incidents, escalations, and post‑incident analysis
10. Contribute to incident response, continuous improvement, and operational stability
11. Support the development and refinement of DevOps practices, runbooks, and operational standards
12. Actively contribute to improving developer experience and platform reliability
Your Profile
13. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
14. 5+ years of relevant professional experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Platform Engineering roles
15. Strong Linux system administration skills for operating production‑grade cloud‑native platforms
16. Proven experience with Microsoft Azure, including AKS and Azure DevOps tooling
17. Strong expertise in Kubernetes, including cluster operations, RBAC, networking, and storage
18. Hands‑on experience with container technologies such as Docker and container registries
19. Proficiency with Terraform, Helm, Ansible, and PowerShell
20. Experience building and operating CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or equivalent tools
21. Cloud‑native monitoring and observability experience using Prometheus, Grafana, and alerting pipelines
22. Solid understanding of security and compliance requirements such as PCI DSS and SOC2
23. Scripting skills for automation and tooling (Bash, Python, PowerShell)
24. Practical experience using Git for version control
25. Excellent communication skills in English (Spanish is a plus)
