EMEA Marketplaces Business Intelligence Manager Description - EMEA Marketplaces Business Intelligence Manager Role Overview This is a senior individual contributor role with EMEA scope, responsible for marketplace business intelligence, reporting infrastructure, and automation across online Marketplaces to support driving sales and business growth. The role combines strong technical and analytical expertise with end-to-end ownership of digital shelf performance, data platforms, and continuous improvement initiatives. The Business Intelligence Manager acts as a subject‑matter expert, driving data‑backed decision‑making, scalable automation, and high‑quality digital shelf execution. The role works closely with central and country sales teams, influencing strategy through insight, rigor, and hands‑on analytical depth. Key Responsibilities Business Intelligence & Analytics Own the design and reliability of marketplace BI and analytics infrastructure. Manage marketplace reporting ecosystems, integrating multiple internal and external data sources into centralized BI tools (e.g., Power BI). Build scalable datasets and dashboards used by regional and country teams. Define KPI standards and documentation to ensure consistency and reusability. Deliver advanced analyses to support senior‑level decision‑making. Automation & Audit Enablement Lead all automation efforts related to marketplace and e‑commerce audits, owning the automation roadmap for audit processes. Act as the single point of ownership for requirements, prioritization, and delivery of audit‑related automation initiatives. Work in close collaboration with the internal automation team, aligning on architecture, tooling, and delivery. Apply strong project management skills to plan, coordinate, and track automation initiatives end‑to‑end. Design automation solutions to reduce manual effort and improve data quality and scalability. Cross‑Functional Partnership Act as a trusted analytical partner to sales, category, digital marketing, and country teams. Contribute expert input to regional marketplace initiatives and pilots. Work with agencies and technology partners on data, reporting, and measurement topics. Required Skills & Capabilities Proven ownership of business intelligence, data models, and reporting infrastructure. Deep understanding of marketplace reporting and performance analytics. Experience supporting A/B testing and experimentation. Strong analytical and technical skills with the ability to influence through data. Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree required; Business, Analytics, Engineering, Computer Science, or Marketing preferred. Extensive experience in analytics, business intelligence, or eCommerce roles. Experience in creating BI dashboards Able to operate effectively and independently in complex, cross-functional environments.
