DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Contribute to the R&D test strategy definition and operation.
* Design and implement comprehensive test cases for embedded software systems.
* Develop automated test frameworks and scripts for unit, integration, and system-level testing.
* Perform manual and automated testing on embedded platforms (e.G., microcontrollers, SoCs).
* Analyze test results, identify root causes of failures, and work with development teams to resolve issues.
* Support the Test Manager to ensure traceability between requirements, test cases, and test results.
* Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes, tools, and methodologies.
* Participate in code reviews and provide feedback from a testability perspective.
* Maintain test documentation and generate test reports for internal and external stakeholders.
* Ensure compliance with relevant safety, quality, and regulatory standards (e.G., ISO 26262, DO-178C, IEC 62304).
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications Engineering, or a related field.
* Proven experience in embedded software testing (3+ years preferred).
* Strong knowledge of embedded systems, real-time operating systems (RTOS), and microcontroller architectures.
* Proficiency in scripting and programming languages (e.G., Python, C/C++).
* Experience with version control and CI/CD tools (e.G., Git, Bitbucket, Azure DevOps).
* Experience with project tracking and documentation tools (e.G., JIRA, Confluence).
* Experience with artifact dependency management tools (e.G. Nexus).
* Experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.G. Jenkins).
* Familiarity with hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing and simulation environments.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
* Fluent in written and spoken English.
DESIRABLE SKILLS:
* Experience in safety-critical domains (e.G., automotive, aerospace, medical).
* Knowledge of communication protocols (e.G., SPI, I2C, UART).
* Knowledge of smartcards and telecommunication standards (e.G., ETSI, GSMA, Global Platform, Javacard).
* Certification in Process Quality Assessment Models (e.G., ISO9001, SPICE, Automotive SPICE, CMMI).
* ISTQB certification or equivalent is a plus.
