Transport Performance Analyst, EU AMXL - XLOC

As a Transport Performance Analyst, you will have the opportunity to create world-class customer experiences by leveraging your innovation, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
This position involves working in a rotating three-shift system, which may include weekends, night shifts, and on-call duties.
Key job responsibilities
1. Execute daily same-day or next-day forecasts.
2. Plan delivery routes or monitor volume flow, affecting tens of thousands of packages at the EU level.
3. Be accountable for planning accuracy, cost, and customer experience. Develop best practices and standard work for the network.
4. Ensure targets and service deadlines are met, according to regulatory requirements.
5. Communicate with various departments, facilitate information flow, and resolve issues impacting business continuity.
6. Research process improvement initiatives and make real-time decisions, taking strategic pauses to view the bigger picture.
7. Maintain and report accurate statistics, management reports, and analysis.
A day in the life
This position is office-based.
You will work across the EU in a cross-functional environment with Supply Chain, Distribution Centers, and Ground Transportation teams to support daily operations, ensuring timely delivery of Heavy/Bulky shipments.
About the team
Amazon Extra Large (AMXL) handles heavy items like furniture and large appliances. Our team manages supply chain fulfillment, delivery, and returns, providing an extra level of customer care, including unpacking, assembling, installing, and old item removal. We focus on safety, productivity, and innovation, transforming how customers buy and receive large goods.
We plan to expand our fulfillment centers and delivery stations across the UK and Europe. Most team members work during the day, with some night shifts in delivery stations. Our team includes operations, supply chain, business intelligence, and program management professionals, all vital to growing this business segment.
Minimum requirements
* Relevant experience in analytical tasks or projects involving data.
* Advanced proficiency in English (C1 CEFR).
* Experience working with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
* Experience communicating with senior stakeholders and leadership.
* Previous experience in transportation or logistics.
* Experience with programming or coding languages (SQL or Python).
