Verisure is seeking a talented, innovative, hands‑on HR Systems Intern to join our growing and successful Group HRIS Centre of Excellence Team to impact and help drive Verisure’s growth, through the delivery of Group HR strategy and best practices at Group level.
The HRIS Centre of Excellence is responsible for the Global HR systems within Verisure, primarily Workday. The team implements and delivers all General HR systems projects for the Company on an international level. In the past, the team has overseen the go‑live of Workday and Phenom People, and continues to work to enhance the system and related business processes.
Workday is used by more than 50% of Fortune 500 companies and has been named a Leader in the 2020 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Cloud HCM Suites. Within Spain it has now been adopted by several major companies in the IBEX35.
The Internship position is designed to give the candidate an opportunity to gain experience working with a high functioning HRIS services team, as well as participating in many critical HRIS projects. The projects that the team manage are incredibly diverse, however, what they share is the application of methodical analytical capabilities and project management skills to deliver dramatic financial, operational, and customer service improvements.

Key Responsibilities
- Receive hands on experience in configuring Workday across multiple modules, such as HCM, Learning, Talent, Compensation, Recruiting, and Reporting. At Verisure, we provide unique cross‑module training (including Workday‑delivered courses, to support your growth and expertise)
- Collaborate closely with HR teams across different countries to identify system enhancements and gather feedback. Review and collate inputs, with the objective to improve user adoption of Workday, spanning several functions and geographies
- Provide hands‑on system support to stakeholders, other team members and functional teams working to tight deadlines
- Opportunity to work with other leading technologies such as Phenom People, Power BI, Power Automate etc.
- Participate in cross‑functional projects with relevant stakeholders and take ownership of necessary action items. Example of projects including: Automate and streamline processes in the system or country focus adoption projects.
- Provide user training, create guides and proactively communicate to users about system improvements or changes

Experiences And Qualifications
Minimum qualifications
- Advanced Excel level (vlookups, pivot tables etc.)
- Strong interest in HR and IT Systems
- Advanced knowledge of Power Point
- Ability to frame problems breaking it into pieces
- Proactive mindset, self starter
- High developed analytical capabilities and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a challenging team, under tight deadlines
- Ability to adapt quickly to changes and requirements, entrepreneurial
- Advanced communication skills
- Customer oriented
- Willingness to Learn: A proactive, positive attitude with a strong desire to develop new skills and grow in the Workday field.
- Project Exposure: Experience working on school projects, internships, or part‑time jobs that involve technology or HR processes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Human Resources, Business Administration, Business Administration + Law, Engineering, Economics
- Internships or Related Experience: Any prior experience in HR, IT, data analysis, or internships involving HRIS systems can be advantageous

- Portuguese or French: good to have
