We are looking for a **Senior Category Manager** to join our **Iberia Category team**, reporting directly to the **Head of Category**. In this role, you will be the **go-to expert for category and brand matters in the Hub**, owning the vision, building the plan, and driving execution across all channels.
You will collaborate closely with **Sales and Marketing teams** to deliver winning strategies for our brands, ensuring seamless execution. Acting as the **category vision ambassador**, you will lead with insights, sharpen our fundamentals, and inspire both internal and external stakeholders to unlock sustainable growth.
**What your role is**
As **Senior Category Manager**, you will:
- Act as the **category vision ambassador**, owning plans and driving results across the Iberia Hub.
- Develop and execute **Category & Brand plans** including all marketing mix elements: innovation, assortment, promotions, distribution, and merchandising.
- Partner with **Sales and Customers** to land brand strategies in every channel, from promo strategy and range reviews to sales fundamentals.
- Collaborate with the **Cluster Marketing** **team** to build strong **360º consumer and shopper plans**; proactively input into consumer activations and lead shopper activations at POS (brick-and-mortar and e-commerce).
- Co-lead, with manager support, the **Joint Category Planning (JCP) process**, ensuring consistent alignment between category vision and execution.
- Lead the **monthly Category & Brand review**: analyze market performance, competitor dynamics, and internal results, working with KAMs to accelerate growth, mitigate risks, and close performance gaps.
- Champion **in-depth customer and shopper understanding**, driving flawless execution in innovation launches and go-to-market plans.
- Lead **Pricing projects**, including **Trade Efficiency and Net Revenue Management (NRM) plans**.
- Manage and control the **Brand Budget**, ensuring efficient resource allocation aligned with priorities.
**What you’ll bring to the team**
You are a proactive, strategic thinker who combines strong marketing and commercial acumen with the ability to influence across functions and stakeholders.
- 5+ years’ experience in **Category Management, Brand Management**, or **Trade Marketing**, ideally **within FMCG**.
- Proven ability to **own the P&L; drivers**, from assortment and promotions to pricing and distribution.
- Strong experience working with** Sales and Customers**, driving category fundamentals and joint business planning.
- A track record of turning **data and insights** into actionable growth strategies.
- Hands-on experience in **shopper activation**, both in physical retail and digital commerce.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; able to navigate complexity and prioritize effectively.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage both internally and externally as the c**ategory ambassador**.
- Fluency in** English and Spanish** required; Portuguese is a plus.
- Passion for food, brands, and building winning categories.
