¿Qué harás?
- Build and manage a team of data engineering and data science resources along with their assignment, sequencing, and allocation.
- Lead data and ML engineers to ensure data access for discovery and proper data is prepared for model consumption.
- Identify opportunities automate key supply chain planning and execution workflows.
- Explore new ways to leverage ML and NLP within the service supply chain workflows, : Part Chaining, Lifecycle curves, Forecast Accuracy etc.
- Lead cross-functional projects using advanced data modelling and analysis techniques to discover insights that will guide strategic decisions and uncover optimization opportunities.
- Strong ability to plan and manage numerous processes, people and projects simultaneously.
- End-to-end Data + Analytics and AI+ML delivery execution ownership.
- Influence product teams through data-based recommendations.
- Set KPIs and metrics to evaluate analytics solution given a particular use case.
- Build, develop and maintain data models, reporting systems, data automation systems, dashboards and performance metrics support that support key business decisions.
- Horizontal visibility across products and solutions to help drive re-use and reduce redundancy in the data and analytics across broader portfolio.
- Translate the analytics solutions back to the business to ensure its actionable and business can drive value from those insights.
- Communicate proactively to two audiences (Business and Technical) at once.
- Ensure the technical teams are clear on the “why” from the perspective of the Business customer.
- Design, develop, implement, calibrate optimization and simulation models.
- Develop source code and troubleshoot data issues and model solutions.
- Build complex datasets from multiple data sources.
- Create reusable packages or libraries.
- Execute in line with product vision and framework set by the product strategy team.
- Act as a champion of SCRUM principles and practices.
¿A quién buscamos?
- 6+ years of experience working in data science ideally in the tech or supply chain domain.
- 3+ years of experience managing Machine Learning Scientists, Data Scientists, and Data Engineers.
- Expert in Python and statistical/machine learning tools.
- Familiarity with Java, C++, or other programming languages.
- Knowledge of ETL tools like Pentaho, Talend, AWS Glue or Stitch.
- Experience with AWS ML tools like SageMaker, Lex.
- Experienced in handling large data sets using SQL and databases in a business environment.
- Experience with big data tools like Databricks, Apache Spark or Hadoop.
- Experience of working with NoSQL databases like MongoDB and Elasticsearch.
- Excellent leadership skills, with a team-player attitude to drive the end-to-end implementation of use cases under time pressure.
- Applying trade-off driven decisions based on available data in managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Ability to work in teams communicate across multiple levels across the organization.
- Ability to solicit feedback, understand customer needs and translate those to achievable scope.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business/Engineering or other quantitative fields. Ideally, Operations Research or Industrial Engineering background.
- Strong domain knowledge in supply chain.
- In-depth knowledge of Agile/SCRUM frameworks.
- Working knowledge of JIRA, Confluence, Jenkins and GIT.
- Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
- Fluency in English.
