is seeking a skilled and motivated AWS Python Developer to play a pivotal role within Agile delivery squads, contributing to both transformation initiatives and business-as-usual (BAU) activities. This role focuses on building, enhancing, and supporting cloud-native solutions for Contact Centre platforms, with a strong emphasis on security, scalability, and automation.
The successful candidate will have hands‑on experience developing AWS Lambda–based solutions using Python, implementing Infrastructure as Code, and working within CI/CD pipelines. Experience with Amazon Connect and related services is essential.
Key Responsibilities
Act as a core contributor within Agile squads, supporting both transformation programs and BAU delivery.
Design, develop, and maintain AWS Lambda functions using Python to support Contact Centre solutions.
Build and implement Amazon Connect solutions, including Contact Flows and Amazon Lex bots.
Ensure all solutions comply with security standards, governance policies, and industry regulations.
Implement Infrastructure as Code using AWS CloudFormation, SAM CLI, and related tooling.
Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and Git‑based workflows to support continuous integration and delivery.
Participate across the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), including design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams, including product owners, architects, and operations teams.
Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve complex technical issues in a timely and effective manner.
Mandatory Skills and Experience
Strong experience developing and implementing AWS Lambda functions using
Python .
Proven experience delivering
Amazon Connect
solutions, including Contact Flows and
Amazon Lex
development.
Solid understanding of the SDLC, including software design, security, cloud‑native architectures, and Infrastructure as Code.
Hands‑on experience with CI/CD practices and Git‑based workflows.
Experience with AWS continuous delivery tooling such as
CloudFormation
and
SAM CLI .
Strong understanding of AWS architecture and cloud fundamentals.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Nice‑to‑Have Skills
AWS certification(s).
Experience working in Agile environments using
Scrum
and/or
Kanban, with tools such as
JIRA
and
Confluence .
Training or hands‑on experience in Artificial Intelligence (AI).
Prior experience in Contact Centre environments, including IVR systems.
