As a Payments Integrations Analyst in Madrid, you will focus on analyzing external partner APIs end to end and turning diverse specifications and business rules into clear, testable requirements and dependable integration flows. You will be the bridge between product, compliance, engineering, and external partners, aligning needs, unblocking delivery, and continuously improving performance and reliability across our payment network. Your integrations will run on REN, Euronet's modern payments platform, giving your work global scale and a solid foundation from day one. This is a hands‐on, high‐visibility role where your contributions directly improve customer experience, reduce friction and risk, and advance Ria's mission to make global money movement faster, more transparent, and more affordable. Gather and define requirements using external API specifications, interviews, and business process descriptionsCritically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understandingProactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal stakeholders worldwide to analyze information needs and functional requirementsUnderstand business, operations, compliance, IT, and legal pain areas to apply the best approach on the final solutionSuccessfully engage in multiple integration projects simultaneouslyMonitor and design likely complex solutions to optimize network performance MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field;
or equivalent practicalexperience3-5 years of software engineering, systems integration, data/QA engineering, or similarHands-on experience reading/writing specs, APIs, or data modelsProven experience with Jira and Confluence to manage requirements, workflows, and documentationExcellent command of written and oral English and SpanishBased or willingness to settle in Madrid, the most desirable city in Europe!
