Senior Strategic Account Executive (Public Sector ) - Spain - Cutting-edge AI
The Opportunity We are seeking a heavyweight Senior Strategic Account Executive to lead our Public Sector commercial efforts in Spain. This is a high-impact, business-driven role focused on closing large-scale AI contracts (7–8 figures) across national, regional, and institutional public administrations. You will act as a trusted strategic partner at the highest levels of government, bridging the gap between political vision and technological execution.
Key Responsibilities
* Commercial Execution: Define and lead the growth strategy for the Spanish public sector, building a robust pipeline of 8-figure opportunities.
* Executive & Political Engagement: Maintain relationships with Ministries, Secretariats of State, and Regional Governments.
* Complex Procurement: Lead end-to-end public procurement processes, including tenders, framework agreements, and direct negotiations.
* Internal Synergy: Collaborate with technical, legal, and product teams to ensure proposals are compliant and commercially viable.
Requirements
* Experience: 10–15+ years in strategic sales or account management specifically within the Spanish Public Sector.
* Track Record: Proven history of closing multi-million Euro, complex technology or infrastructure contracts.
* Expertise: Deep knowledge of Spanish public procurement laws and cycles.
* Communication: Native-level Spanish and professional-level English.
* Stature: Comfortable navigating executive and political decision-making circles.
