E-Commerce Trading Director – Iberia brThe Ecommerce Trading Director – Iberia is a senior, commercially driven leader responsible for driving ecommerce performance across a portfolio of merchandise partners within the Iberian region. brThis role acts as the strategic and operational bridge between Legends and our regional merchandise partners, ensuring alignment across trading, merchandising, marketing, and digital execution. The core objective is to deliver profitable, high- performing ecommerce programs by partnering closely with buying, merchandising, and marketing teams to optimize assortment, inventory flow, campaign activation, and digital execution tailored to the Iberian market. brThe role requires strong commercial acumen, regional market expertise, and the ability to influence stakeholders across partner organizations. Through data-led insights, structured performance governance, and best practice implementation, the Ecommerce Trading Director will ensure partners maximize conversion, revenue, and customer lifetime value across their official ecommerce channels. brA key deliverable is driving trading excellence across Iberia — aligning merchandising strategy, campaign execution, and digital optimization to unlock sustainable regional growth. brKEY RESPONSIBILITIES brRegional Strategy Commercial Ownership brLead the ecommerce trading strategy across the Iberian partner portfolio. brOwn delivery against regional revenue, margin, conversion. brServe as the senior commercial escalation point for Iberian partners. brConduct structured business reviews, providing insights, growth plans, and risk mitigation strategies. Merchandising Inventory Alignment brPartner closely with buying and merchandising teams to influence assortment planning, launch strategy, pricing, and sell-through performance. brProvide analytics-driven recommendations to optimize stock depth, lifecycle management, and campaign prioritization. brEnsure regional campaign calendars align with product availability and commercial priorities. brMaintain best-in-class on-site merchandising standards across all Iberian sites. Trading Optimization Performance Growth brDrive growth through continual optimization of traffic, conversion rate brLead structured experimentation and A/B testing initiatives to improve performance. brIdentify funnel friction and partner with UX and development teams to enhance customer journeys. brEnsure effective utilization of ecommerce platforms and third-party tools. Marketing Channel Collaboration brAlign with regional marketing teams across CRM, PPC, SEO, Affiliates, Display, and Paid Social to ensure cohesive commercial execution. brProvide commercial input into campaign planning and promotional strategy. brMonitor marketing efficiency and contribution to regional revenue and margin targets. Cross-Functional Leadership brCoordinate with internal ecommerce, design, development, and operations teams to ensure seamless regional execution. brInfluence roadmap priorities to support Iberian trading objectives. brLead change initiatives to evolve the regional ecommerce offering in line with market needs. brReport performance, risks, and opportunities to senior leadership. Team Leadership brCoach and develop a team of account managers supporting Iberian partners. brSet KPIs aligned to regional commercial targets. brFoster a performance-driven, data-led culture within the team. QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS brMinimum 10 years' experience operating retail ecommerce businesses, preferably within sports or licensed merchandise. brStrong understanding of Iberian ecommerce market dynamics. brProven experience driving revenue growth and margin improvement within a regional ecommerce structure. brAdvanced knowledge of analytics platforms, ecommerce technologies, and trading KPIs. brStrong understanding of A/B testing, experimentation frameworks, and performance optimization. brSolid grasp of inventory management, OTB processes, and product lifecycle planning. brExcellent stakeholder management and influencing skills. brStrong written and verbal communication skills (Spanish and English highly desirable). brHighly organized with strong project management capabilities. brAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power Point. brWillingness to travel regionally and work flexibly as business needs require.
