About the Role This is a rare opportunity to join a globally recognised RF systems manufacturer in a key commercial growth role. As Business Development Manager, you’ll own and develop customer relationships across a defined international territory (UK, Northern Europe, Middle East & Africa), focusing on high-value technical sales into defence, space, broadcast, and telecom markets. You'll work alongside a lean, experienced global sales team and report directly to the Global Sales Director. This is a full-time remote role with travel as required.
Key Responsibilities Deliver £1–2M+ in new sales annually Build and manage a strong sales pipeline aligned with company targets Deepen relationships with key accounts while identifying and closing new opportunities Represent the business at trade shows, exhibitions, and customer meetings Prepare proposals, quotes, and tender responses with support from the technical team Train and support a network of channel partners and advisors Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, customer support, and marketing teams Maintain CRM records and provide regular forecasting/reporting
What We’re Looking For Proven B2B technical sales experience in RF, photonics, or fibre optic systems Background in sectors such as Satcom, Defence, Broadcast, GNSS or Telecom Infrastructure Strong technical communication and relationship-building skills Self-driven, commercial mindset with a passion for technology and winning business Ability to work independently in a remote setting while engaging with international teams Degree (or equivalent) in Electronics, Physics, Communications, or related discipline
