**Position Summary**:
Data management is a key component of AXA Partners' Data strategy for sound and sustainable data governance within the organization. As a Data Governance Officer at AXA Partners, you will be responsible for implementing and ensuring that data management standards and best practices are consistently applied within your domain of responsibility. You will support data management initiatives aimed at improving overall compliance and the quality of data managed across AXA Partners.
As a member of the central AXA Partners Data & AI Office, you will actively contribute to the development and implementation of the AXA Partners Data Management framework. This includes establishing data governance and data management standards and guidelines, driving and supporting the implementation of these standards within AXA Partners entities, and monitoring and reporting on progress.
In this global role, you will engage in a diverse range of activities across the various entities of AXA Partners globally and the various dimensions of data management, including Data Governance, Data Risk Management, Data Product, Data Quality, and Data Architecture.

- Oversee the establishment and maintenance of the integral AXA Partners Data Management framework (policy, standards, guidelines, etc.) within a decentralized operating model.
- Drive, coordinate, and monitor the execution of data policies across the organization, reporting progress to various stakeholders.
- Support teams in their data management activities and coordinate enhancements to data management tools and reporting frameworks.
- Interact with AXA Partners’ network of Data Managers and supervise consultants supporting various initiatives when necessary.
- Communicate internally with staff to coordinate and ensure the completion of data management processes.
- Occasionally represent AXA Partners before external parties.
**What you’ll bring**:
**Qualifications**:
- University degree required (e.g., engineering school).
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience as a project manager, business analyst, or in a data governance role, with clear exposure to data governance initiatives (experience in data quality and data product is a plus).
- Advanced English Level (Must). Spanish or French is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of interacting with a diverse range of people and departments, from Executive Committee members to operational teams.
- Proven expertise in building and delivering presentations, with experience in designing engaging presentations that communicate complex information clearly.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to utilize advanced functions and analyze data effectively.
- Experience working with an “Agile” mindset in international, multicultural, and complex environments.
- Ability to report to stakeholders at various levels, raise issues, and manage priorities efficiently.
- Service-focused, with the ability to work autonomously within agreed boundaries.
- Experience in data management and data governance, as well as driving change in large-scale and complex projects or organizations, is a plus.
- Knowledge of data compliance (e.g., GDPR, Solvency II) is a plus.
- Familiarity with the DAMA DMBOK framework is a plus.
