Position Summary:
Our client is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager who will play a crucial role in identifying suitable business opportunities and supporting their sales and product teams in building a robust pipeline. This role will have a global scope, requiring a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of market dynamics. The ideal candidate will be proactive, with a proven track record in business development and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
Main Responsibility Areas:
* Identify and evaluate new business opportunities globally to drive growth and expand market presence.
* Support the sales and product teams in developing and maintaining a healthy pipeline of opportunities.
* Conduct market research and analysis to understand industry trends, competitive landscape, and potential areas for growth.
* Develop and implement strategies to attract new clients and retain existing ones.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to ensure alignment and successful execution of business initiatives.
* Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and pitches to prospective clients and partners.
* Track and report on business development activities, including pipeline status, conversion rates, and key performance metrics.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and industry stakeholders.
* Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to represent the company’s Software Solutions and identify potential business leads.
* Stay up-to-date with industry developments, emerging technologies, and market demands to ensure their offerings remain competitive.
Key Skills & Competencies:
* Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
* Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related role, preferably within the software or technology industry.
* Strong understanding of market research, analysis, and strategic planning.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
* Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners.
* Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess market opportunities and business potential.
* Ability to travel globally as required to meet with clients and attend industry events.
Proficiency in using CRM software and other business development tools.
