The Opportunity Puig seeks a highly skilled Global Head of Consumer Data to join the CRM, Consumer and Media Data & Insight Team within the Consumer & AI Accelerator Office. You will support our portfolio of brands across all markets, ensuring a robust, compliant, and business‑driven consumer data ecosystem that supports CRM excellence, data‑driven insights, and orchestrated omnichannel consumer journeys.
What you’ll get to do 1. Product Ownership
Act as the business owner for key consumer data products and platforms, including:
Consumer C360 Datamart (Golden Record)
Bloomreach – marketing automation, new features, new channels
Preference Center – consent & privacy preferences
Loyal Guru – loyalty platform
Connect.U – 1:1 clienteling features (in collaboration with Global Retail)
Define business requirements and translate them into clear, actionable specifications for tech teams.
Prioritise product roadmaps and ensure timely delivery of enhancements and new capabilities, reporting progress within the organisation.
Evaluate and integrate new features, channels, and data flows to support CRM and consumer engagement strategies.
Ensure platforms evolve to support first‑party data collection, personalisation, loyalty growth, and advocacy.
Act as the primary point of contact for Global CRM, brands, and markets regarding consumer data tools, management, and capabilities.
2. Expertise Development, Strategic Projects & Global Collaboration
Work closely with Brands, Markets, and cross‑functional teams (Global CRM, Tech, Insights, Legal) to understand their strategies, roadmaps, and specific consumer‑data needs.
Anticipate brand and market needs, proactively evolving the data ecosystem to support future CRM, clienteling, and engagement strategies.
Partner with the Data Product Owner of Consumer Dashboards (London) to align data sources, KPIs, and reporting frameworks.
Support the generation of actionable insights – dashboards, segmentation, predictive models, automation, analytics.
Ensure successful project execution through effective planning, prioritisation and stakeholder management.
Support change management and drive adoption of global tools, governance frameworks, and data best practices.
3. Consumer Data Governance Leadership
Lead the governance of consumer data as a data champion within the global data governance strategy.
Ensure alignment with business definitions, KPIs, and data standards across brands and markets.
Maintain consistency of consumer data across all tools and platforms, enabling seamless activation across consumer journeys.
Oversee compliance and documentation within Collibra and Confluence, ensuring all assets meet governance and regulatory requirements.
Drive continuous improvement of data quality; ensure business rules are correctly applied and monitored.
Take part in the Global Data Governance workstream to align with global strategy and tools.
Upskill brands, markets, and relevant teams on consumer data definition and management.
4. Compliance, Privacy & Risk Management
Ensure consumer data usage complies with global and local regulations (GDPR, consent management, retention rules).
Partner with Legal and Privacy teams to ensure all tools and processes meet compliance standards.
Guarantee that consent, preferences, and privacy rules are correctly implemented across all platforms and markets.
We’d love to meet you if you have Qualifications
Experience & Expertise
12+ years of experience in consumer or digital data management or CRM activation
Experience working in a global organisation or transversal team
Strong understanding of consumer data usage in CRM, loyalty, retail, and omnichannel environments
Solid knowledge of data governance frameworks, data management, and data quality management
SQL proficiency (ability to query, validate, and troubleshoot data)
Experience with marketing automation, loyalty, or clienteling platforms is a strong plus
Experience in beauty, luxury, or retail is appreciated
Skills & Competencies
