Position Overview
KB AGRO & RESEARCH COMPANY LIMITED is seeking a seasoned and dynamic Senior Sales Manager to lead its sales and marketing function. The role is responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, managing key accounts, and leading a high-performing team to drive business growth in the competitive food and meat processing industry. This position requires strong industry knowledge, leadership, and strategic thinking.
Key Responsibilities
* Analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitor activities to shape effective sales strategies.
* Develop and implement strategic plans to meet revenue and market expansion goals.
* Lead and supervise the sales team, set clear KPIs, and provide regular performance coaching and support.
* Acquire and manage major accounts, including retail chains, HoReCa, and institutional buyers.
* Foster strong relationships with existing clients to enhance satisfaction and repeat business.
* Lead contract negotiations including pricing, product offerings, and delivery terms.
* Recommend appropriate meat products tailored to client needs and promote in-depth product knowledge.
* Coordinate with marketing for campaign alignment and branding consistency.
* Monitor sales performance, analyze data, and present regular reports to senior management.
* Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and regulatory standards across all sales operations.
Qualifications & Experience
* Master’s degree (MBA preferred) in Sales, Marketing, or a relevant field.
* Minimum 5-10 years of experience in AGRO, FMCG, or Meat Processing Industries, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role (Mandatory).
* Proven track record in managing large sales teams and exceeding performance targets.
* Strong understanding of chicken processing operations, product categories, and B2B & B2C sales models (Mandatory).
* Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
* Familiarity with Kathmandu’s market and regional distribution channels (Highly Preferred).
* Ability to perform under pressure and lead in a fast-paced, competitive environment.
