Build the tracking architecture. Own the data. It's not a dashboard tidy-up job.
And it's definitely not "drop a tag and hope for the best".
This is a senior, hands-on digital analytics role for someone who wants to own the entire tracking ecosystem — architecture, implementation, governance, and problem-solving — across multiple brands and platforms.
You'll be the technical authority on digital analytics.
The person others come to when the data doesn't line up.
The one who designs it right first time.
You'll
own the digital analytics architecture end to end
. That means designing scalable tracking solutions, defining event models and data layers, and delivering clean implementations across multiple websites.
You'll lead
tag management at a senior level
, owning GTM and driving server-side tagging (on-prem / Matomo). When the UI isn't enough, you'll write custom JavaScript, troubleshoot complex attribution and data issues, and keep implementations governed and audit-ready.
You'll make
Matomo work properly
- building advanced events, funnels, and KPIs, standardising measurement across brands, and ensuring data flows cleanly into BI platforms.
You'll also be accountable for
privacy-first tracking
, working with CMPs to ensure consent-driven behaviour and partnering with Legal and Compliance to stay aligned with regulation. xohynlm
Finally, you'll act as the
technical authority for digital analytics
— partnering with Engineering during platform changes, supporting experimentation, mentoring others, and resolving data discrepancies when accuracy matters most.
Strong
JavaScript
skills and hands-on experience in
digital analytics and tag management
(GTM, server-side tagging)
Deep understanding of

Confidence owning
tracking projects end-to-end
and explaining complex topics to non-technical stakeholders
