Job Summary
As a Process Engineer specializing in microencapsulation, your primary responsibility would be to scale up new technologies from lab to pilot and industrial scale, ensuring robust and efficient processes.
You will also provide technical support to fellow engineers as part of the New Product Introduction (NPI) team, helping to troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
Based in Benicarló, you will work in an international environment with daily interaction with global teams.
What You Will Be Doing
Design, optimize, and scale up microencapsulation processes.Provide technical support and guidance to other engineers within the NPI team.Troubleshoot and resolve technical and operational issues during industrial production.Operate and supervise pilot and industrial-scale equipment.Apply scientific methodologies and statistical tools to solve complex problems.Collaborate with multidisciplinary and multicultural teams to develop technical solutions aligned with business goals.Document technical results and contribute to intellectual property (IP) generation when applicable.Communicate findings clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.Actively engage in relevant scientific and technical communities.
What We’re Looking For
Education:
Degree in Chemical Engineering (Master’s or specialization in encapsulation technologies is a plus).Experience:
Minimum 3 years in process development, ideally in microencapsulation or related technologies.Technical skills:
Experience with pilot and industrial plants, production troubleshooting, design of experiments (DoE), data analysis, and process scale-up.Languages:
Advanced English (B2 or higher) – essential for technical documentation and international collaboration.Soft skills:
Proactive, analytical thinker, technically driven, team-oriented.
