We#39;re looking for a b Senior Flight Dynamics Software Engineer /b to join our b Interplanetary Mission Analysis (IMAN) Competence Centre /b within the Mission Engineering Business Unit. /p pb What#39;s the Challenge? /b /p p As a b Senior Flight Dynamics Software Engineer /b at Indra Deimos, you#39;ll lead the development of high-fidelity software tools for orbital simulation and mission design. Your contributions will directly impact scientific missions for top-tier clients like ESA, as well as internal projects pushing the boundaries of innovation. You’ll also take part in advanced research in celestial mechanics and astrodynamics. /p pem Your contributions will include: /em /p ulli Designing and evolving our in-house Flight Dynamics System (FDS) to simulate constellations and orbital maneuvers. /lili End-to-end development, validation, and operational deployment of the FDS software for satellite and constellation simulations. /lili Creating and automating strategies for constellation deployment, station-keeping, replenishment, collision avoidance, and re-entry. /lili Defining algorithms for Space Situational Awareness (SSA). /lili Supporting mission design for interplanetary and Earth Observation missions. /lili Simulating spacecraft dynamics and modeling the space environment. /lili Developing custom software tools to support mission analysis activities. /lili Driving innovation, refining engineering processes, and contributing to technology research and knowledge sharing across teams. /li /ul pb What We#39;re Looking For: /b /p pb Education: /b /p ulli M.Sc. in Aerospace Engineering. /li /ul pb Experience: /b /p ulli4–6 years in relevant space domains including software development and flight dynamics. /lili Strong background in orbital mechanics and trajectory optimization using various propulsion systems. /lili Skilled in C++ and Python. /lili Knowledge of software engineering methods and orbital analysis tools. /lili Bonus points for experience with lunar missions, satellite operations, telemetry, estimation theory, and object-oriented programming. /li /ul pb Language: /b /p ulli Excellent level of English, both spoken and written. /li /ul pb Personal Attributes: /b /p ulli Highly motivated, proactive, and problem-solving mindset. /lili Responsible team player with leadership capabilities. /lili Comfortable working in groups and client-facing settings. /li /ul pb What We Offer: /b /p ulli /ul /li
