* Cloning of vectors for transfection
* Culture and generation of genetically edited Toxoplasma gondii lines
* Design, handling, and optimisation of murine models of toxoplasmosis
* Participation in the characterisation of cerebral organoids
* Report writing, dissemination activities, and the publication and presentation of results in high-impact journals and at international conferences

Requirements
Research Field Medical sciences » Veterinary medicine Education Level PhD or equivalent
Skills/Qualifications
* Direct participation in high-impact research projects related to apicomplexan parasites and virulence factors
* Experience in plasmid design, cloning techniques, gene editing, and CRISPR/Cas9
* Experience in the in vitro culture and handling of cell lines, particularly apicomplexans such as Neospora caninum and Toxoplasma gondii
* Experience with in vivo models, particularly murine models
* Experience with molecular techniques such as DNA and RNA extraction, PCR, RT-PCR, and transcriptomics
* Experience with serological techniques (ELISA) and immunofluorescence (IFI), as well as the use of microscopes and image acquisition software
