About the Role
As a Robotics and PLC Programmer, you will report to the Maintenance Area Engineer and you will play a key role in supporting production by ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our robots and automation systems in our key areas. You will be responsible for diagnosing and solving technical issues related to programming and software, but also driving continuous improvement and preventive maintenance/TPM strategies. You will also contribute to ensure compliance of safety and quality standards.
In this position, the person will be responsible for:
- Program, modify, and optimize robotic and PLC applications in production lines.
- Troubleshoot robot, automation systems regarding process-related issues.
- Improve cycle times, productivity, and equipment reliability.
- Develop and maintain robot program backups and technical documentation.
- Coordinate equipment testing and commissioning activities.
- Train operators and maintenance technicians on robotic and automatic systems.
- Focus on preventive maintenance/TPM and root cause analysis; helping with design of preventive maintenance plans, understanding related KPIs.
- Conduct equipment obsolescence analysis and plan replacements when required.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to reduce downtime and improve yield.
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations within the assigned area of responsibility.
Requirements
- Automation/PLC/Robotics technician, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in similar roles within industrial and Lean environments.
- Proven experience in process automation.
- Hands-on experience in PLC programming (Rockwell), SCADA systems (Rockwell), and communication protocols.
- Experience with robotics (ABB and Fanuc)
- Experience with machine artificial vision systems.
- Solid knowledge of electricity.
- Advanced user of MS 365 (particularly Excel).

- Knowledge on ISO 14001, IATF
- Engineering Degree
- Programming skills in Visual Basic.
- Knowledge on SAP
- Fluent in English.
- Willingness to work morning, afternoon and night shifts
