brAdminister, monitor, and maintain MS SQL Server databases.
brManage on-premise Oracle Databases (19c or newer).
brDesign and implement High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions (SQL Server AlwaysOn, Oracle RAC, Oracle Data Guard, and Golden Gate replication).
brPlan and execute installations, upgrades, migrations, and patching activities.
brPerform backup, recovery and performance tuning to ensure optimal reliability and efficiency.
brManage database security, user access, and auditing processes.
brExperience with Linux and Windows servers hosting database workloads.
brPerform system monitoring, patching, configuration, and hardening to maintain stability and security.
brExposure to automation using Bash and PowerShell scripting.
brExperience managing PostgreSQL databases.
brUnderstanding of hybrid cloud environments (Azure, Oracle Cloud) is a plus.
brParticipate in Incident, Problem, and Change Management processes following ITIL standards.
brDocument and maintain database configurations and procedures.
brProvide technical support and troubleshooting for database-related incidents.
brCollaborate cross-functionally with DevOps, Networking, and Application teams.
br5+ years of experience as a Database Administrator in enterprise environments.
brStrong expertise in MS SQL Server administration.
brSolid experience with Oracle Database.
brHands-on experience with HA/DR, performance tuning, and monitoring tools.
brFamiliarity with automation and Infrastructure-as-Code practices as Ansible is a plus.
brCertifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator, Oracle Certified Professional (OCP), or similar are highly valued.
brFluent in English and Spanish (spoken and written).
