Key Responsibilities:
- Partner stakeholders on a full spectrum of HR functions and provide advice on a range of areas including talent acquisition, performance management and development, reward strategies, employee relations etc.- Support the manpower planning and projection of faculty and work with Finance Business Partners and school stakeholders on manpower projections, budget and costings.- Establish clear understanding of the recruitment needs and work closely with the Shared Services team and hiring managers to hire talents on a timely basis- Plan and manage faculty re-appointment, post-retirement, re-employment, Promotion and Tenure (PT) and Lecturers & Practice Track Promotion Exercise (LPPE) for various faculty tracks- Assist in planning and implementing faculty performance appraisal exercise- Manage onboarding and off-boarding of faculty members- Support in the conceptualization and implementation of faculty development initiatives- Drive key employee initiatives such as awards and welfare matters
Requirements- Bachelor's degree in any discipline- Minimum of 3 years of experience in HR and/or administrative functions- Good knowledge of Employment Act and Labour Laws- Experience in higher education or academic recruitment is highly desirable- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task- Able to build and maintain effective interpersonal relationships at all levels; handle sensitive matters with tact and discretion, while building trust and upholding confidentialityHiring Institution: NTU
