As a Business Analyst in the "Reporting and Analytics" team within Group Investment Management, you will collaborate with business users across countries to translate analytical and reporting needs into functional requirements and solutions. You will analyze business processes, complex data, and financial systems, define IT specifications, and implement reporting solutions for our global end-user base.
Your role
As a Business Analyst (Reporting & Analytics), your main responsibilities will involve:
* Developing analytical, regulatory, and operational reports and dashboards using business intelligence tools, adapting them to business needs and regulatory changes.
* Ensuring data quality across reporting tools through control checks and analysis.
* Analyzing reporting & analytics business requirements and translating them into functional and technical specifications.
* Leading and supporting initiatives related to business intelligence solutions.
* Performing impact analysis of applications with an end-to-end system view.
* Continuously improving reporting processes, services, and infrastructure.
* Providing end-user support and training for reporting needs.
* Ensuring compliance and governance.
* Collaborating with stakeholders (Investment Management, Finance) to identify reporting needs.
* Analyzing investment data and providing insights.
Your role will involve building relationships with:
* Stakeholders at local, regional, and group levels
* Investment back-office and middle-office teams
* Market and Master Data teams
* IT teams
Your Skills and Experience
Educational background and personal skills:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Information Technology, Statistics, or Math with good academic records.
* Understanding of financial products, markets, and accounting principles (IFRS, GAAP).
* Fluent in English (written and spoken).
* CFA/CPA/CMA/ACCA certification is a plus.
Technical skills include:
* 3-4 years of experience in financial data analysis and business analytics, preferably in financial services or insurance.
* Skills in requirement engineering, design thinking, agile methodologies.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Coding skills (SQL, Python, Spark preferred).
* Familiarity with SAP BW, FAM/TRM, or FICO is a plus.
* Data management, quality checks, data warehousing, governance experience is a plus.
* Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, QlikView) is an asset.
Personal skills include:
* Ability to work with multicultural teams and facilitate workshops.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Creative thinking and curiosity.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines with attention to detail.
* Self-management and stress resilience.
