The Data Technical Lead ensures the successful technical design, implementation, and quality assurance of data solutions within a specific business domain.
This role bridges enterprise data architecture and operational delivery, ensuring that data initiatives are well‐designed, properly implemented, scalable, and aligned with business needs.
The Data Technical Lead is responsible for the technical design, implementation, and quality control of data solutions within the domain, including the evolution of the Data Lake built on Medallion architecture principles.
Architecture & Design: Lead technical design of data solutions on Azure / Microsoft Fabric, defining Medallion architecture (Bronze / Silver / Gold), Spark processing patterns, and scalable SQL data models aligned with enterprise architecture.
• Data Governance Enablement: Ensure data governance standards through architectural alignment, Medallion design, and robust technical frameworks.
• Platform & Tools: Oversee implementation of data pipelines using Spark and SQL, manage Lakehouse structures, optimize performance, and ensure integration with legacy tools (SSIS, cubes).
• Data Quality & Controls: Define and monitor data quality metrics, ensure compliance (e.g., SOX), and validate consistency of data ingested from SAP S/4HANA and other ERP systems. xqysrnh
