About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst with deep expertise in eFront systems to support investment operations and drive continuous optimization of front‑to‑back workflows. In this role, you will collaborate closely with investment, operations, technology, and data teams to translate business needs into scalable functional solutions within eFront.
You will lead requirement gathering, functional design, system enhancements, and cross‑module alignment across FrontInvest, FrontPM, and FrontGP. You will also ensure data consistency, support integrations with upstream and downstream applications, and contribute to improving the accuracy and efficiency of core investment processes.
This is a role for someone who brings both hands‑on eFront experience and strong analytical capabilities to challenge, refine, and enhance operational workflows.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead requirement gathering, workflow mapping, and functional analysis across eFront modules (FrontInvest, FrontPM, FrontGP).
* Define and document functional specifications, business rules, and configuration logic.
* Drive system enhancements, module upgrades, and functional improvements to support investment and operations teams.
* Troubleshoot eFront functional issues, coordinate with technology teams, and ensure timely resolution.
* Support end‑to‑end data flows and integrations with upstream/downstream tools (CRM, reporting systems, data warehouses, accounting platforms).
* Ensure data consistency, accuracy, and alignment across eFront modules and connected systems.
* Collaborate with QA, data, and engineering teams to support UAT, regression testing, and release management.
* Analyze existing processes and recommend opportunities to improve automation, scalability, and operational efficiency.
* Provide documentation, training materials, and knowledge transfer to internal stakeholders.
Requirements
* 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst within private equity, asset management, fund administration, or financial technology.
* Significant hands‑on experience configuring and supporting eFront (FrontInvest, FrontPM, FrontGP).
* Strong understanding of alternative investment workflows: deal flow, capital calls, valuations, fund accounting, portfolio monitoring, reporting.
* Solid understanding of data structures, mappings, and functional configuration within eFront.
* Experience supporting API/data integrations between eFront and external systems.
* Ability to troubleshoot functional system issues and collaborate with technical teams for resolution.
* Excellent documentation skills and ability to translate business needs into functional deliverables.
* Strong analytical mindset with the ability to challenge, improve, and optimize existing processes.
* Experience working with cross‑functional global teams.
* Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage.
Nice to Have
* Experience with private markets data models, portfolio analytics, or investor reporting tools.
* Exposure to Allvue, Geneva, Aladdin, or similar investment systems.
* SQL skills for data validation and analysis.
* Prior involvement in system migration or large‑scale transformation projects.
