Are you excited about building high-performance robotic systems that can perceive, learn, and act intelligently alongside humans? A leading robotics and automation team is developing new products and technologies that make this possible at general scale.
This software team is seeking broad, curious engineers to join a diverse, full-stack group. In addition to designing, building, and delivering end-to-end robotic systems, the team owns the core infrastructure and tools that form the backbone of robotic applications—enabling roboticists, machine learning scientists, and software engineers to collaborate and deploy systems both in the lab and in the field. The work spans real-time software, machine learning engineering, big data, simulation, and more.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Architect, design, and implement AWS deployment pipelines using CDK, CloudFormation, Lambda, and CI/CD automation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production deployment issues with fast turnaround and high reliability.
- Design, build, and maintain data visualization platforms and Python packages for robotic system debugging and analytics.
- Work with stakeholders across hardware, science, and operations teams to iterate on systems design.
- Profile, tune, and optimize AWS infrastructure and system performance.
- Maintain high standards by participating in reviews and designing for fault tolerance and operational excellence.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent.
- 3+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong AWS infrastructure experience with CDK, Lambda, CloudFormation, and deployment automation pipelines. Proven track record of shipping production infrastructure with high reliability.
- Experience contributing to architecture and design of scalable, reliable systems.
- Demonstrated ability to ship features on time with accurate estimation and work independently.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's or PhD in Computer Science/Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent.
- Experience with multi-account AWS architecture.
- Experience in robotics, computer vision, machine learning, real-time systems, or embedded systems.
- Experience building data pipelines, data lakes, or analytics platforms with Spark, EMR, Athena, or Grafana.
- Proven track record of consistent delivery velocity and proactive technical debt management.
