We are looking for a Launch Supply Chain Analyst who will be responsible for procurement activities for new launch models of Mercedes after sales.
Ensure the constant availability of spare parts for the global Mercedes-Benz after-sales organization.
Main responsibilities include:
* Manage all logistics operations, including logistics assets, to ensure timely and cost-effective spare part availability for all new launches, considering various influencing factors.
* Ensure correct master data parametrization for accurate forecasting and order placement.
* Act as the key account for your portfolio of suppliers and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, both direct and indirect.
* Manage critical parts and oversee risk management and mitigation strategies.
* Initiate and perform cross-site demand and capacity management by participating in relevant meetings.
* Collaborate closely with senior management and supplier managers during bottleneck situations, including leading escalation meetings with suppliers.
Qualifications:
* University degree in Logistics or Business Administration
* Negotiation skills, especially in initial supplier interactions
* Minimum 2 years of experience in supply chain activities
* Strong conflict resolution and analytical skills
* Resilience and flexibility beyond standard processes
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Fluent in Business English (verbal and written); German language skills are a plus
* Proficiency in MS Office and SAP or similar IT systems
* High social competence
