Mission
The International Relations Project Manager will support the International Relations Department in executing key projects and initiatives under the supervision of the Department Director.
Their mission includes assisting in the coordination of international academic programs, maintaining relationships with integral partners, and ensuring smooth communication across departments.
They will provide logistical and administrative support for international collaborations and events. Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to global engagement are essential for this role.
Responsibilities
Support UCJC's engagement in international networks and associations
Assist in building and maintaining partnerships with global universities
Coordinate international academic initiatives, exchanges and joint programs for students and faculty
Assist in developing and promoting outbound and inbound mobility/study abroad opportunities for UCJC and international students
Support the SEK-UCJC International Advisory Board (IAB) in meetings, communications, travel (if necessary) and work with the Chair of the Board
Draft and edit marketing materials, presentations and institutional communications in English
Requirements
Academic background:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in International Relations, Education, Business, Communications, or a related field
Professional Experience
Prior experience in international education, academic institutions or project management is preferred
Experience in coordinating international programs, partnerships or global initiatives is an asset
Familiarity with higher education networks and institutional collaborations is desirable
Languages
Must-have: Proficient English (C2) – near-native or native speaker
Must-have: Advanced Spanish (C1) – minimum required level
Nice-to-have: Additional languages at an intermediate or advanced level
IT Skills
Advanced competence in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Experience with project management tools or CRM systems is a plus
Skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish
Ability to build and maintain professional relationships within UCJC and with international partners
Excellent multi-tasking, organizational and coordination abilities
