As a SW R&D Manager, you will play a key role in the business, supervising a unit and acting as a liaison between employees and management. In our Network Diagnostics product area, you will lead a software development team responsible for effectively releasing our products. Your management and technical expertise will be essential for success and making a significant impact.
What you will do
* Translate BCSS/CNS/CSE strategies into unit strategy and actions : Communicate strategic plans, manage targets, and connect strategies with daily operations.
* Workforce planning and recruitment : Manage resource planning, recruit diverse talent, and participate in budgeting and forecasting.
* Drive performance management : Ensure adherence to processes, monitor achievement, manage risks, and report performance.
* Individual performance management : Set goals, conduct appraisals, provide coaching, and promote integrity and well-being.
* Drive competence and career development : Develop individual and team plans, support learning, and foster leadership.
* Drive innovation and improvements : Foster new ideas, implement methodologies, and address barriers to performance.
* Manage pay, rewards, and recognition : Conduct salary reviews, recognize achievements, and oversee time reporting.
You will bring
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field; Master's preferred.
* Proven experience as R&D Manager or similar in software development, especially with cloud solutions and remote teams.
* Success in managing large-scale projects with Agile methodologies.
* Familiarity with management tools like SAP, JIRA, Confluence, PowerBI, MS Office, etc.
* Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
* Experience with the software development lifecycle and requirements analysis.
