Purpose of the Role
As Senior Talent Acquisition Partner for the Europe & Latin America region, you play a strategic role in shaping Munich Re’s workforce of the future. You partner with senior leaders, HRBPs, and hiring communities to design and execute hiring strategies that align with business needs and long-term talent priorities. This role reports to the Head of Talent Acquisition for Europe & Latin America based in London, UK and collaborates closely with a team of talent acquisition partners and specialists within the region and globally.
Key Responsibilities
* Strategic Talent Partnering
o Lead the development and execution of end‑to‑end hiring strategies for your assigned business areas, aligning with regional and global priorities.
o Consult senior stakeholders on talent needs, talent availability, and future workforce implications.
o Serve as the primary strategic contact for recruitment topics within your business area, providing insights, coaching, and challenges where needed.
* Candidate Engagement & Full‑Cycle Acquisition
o Engage and attract active and passive talent through Munich Re’s career narrative.
o Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including briefings, sourcing, screening, assessments, interviews, offer management, and closing.
o Ensure a consistent, high‑quality candidate experience with ongoing communication, motivation, and transparency.
* Market Insights & Data Analytics
o Conduct and synthesize external market analyses, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.
o Provide data‑driven recommendations to stakeholders and HRBPs.
o Maintain accurate documentation on candidates and hiring processes, ensuring compliance with digital tools (e.G., SAP SuccessFactors).
* Leadership of Regional Projects
o Lead and execute regional or cross‑business strategic TA projects.
o Collaborate closely with global TA and HR communities on initiatives such as employer branding, sourcing strategies, DEI action plans, and technology enhancement.
* Diversity, Equity & Inclusion
o Embed DEI principles in every stage of the recruitment lifecycle.
o Partner with regional DEI teams to activate programs supporting diverse pipelines and equitable selection.
* Talent Pools & Future Skills
o Build, nurture, and qualify regional talent pools for critical and emerging capabilities.
o Identify current and future talent gaps and advise business areas on workforce availability and alternative talent routes.
Knowledge, Qualifications & Experience
* Extensive experience in talent acquisition within complex, matrixed, and international environments. Insurance and Financial Services industry experience is preferred.
* Proven track record in full‑cycle recruitment, consulting senior stakeholders, and influencing talent decisions.
* Strong expertise in proactive sourcing using modern tools and methodologies.
* Demonstrated ability to analyse market data, trends, and talent insights to shape hiring strategies.
* Strong communication skills, able to convey Munich Re’s story in a compelling, inclusive, and engaging way.
* High cultural agility and experience working across multiple geographies.
* Experience in global or regional project leadership.
* Familiarity with SAP SuccessFactors or similar ATS platforms.
* Exposure to employer branding or candidate‑experience initiatives.
* Insights into DEI best practices for recruitment.
* Effective communicator in English, with the ability to adapt tone, content, and delivery for diverse and cross‑cultural audiences. Proficiency in Spanish, Portuguese, French, or Italian is strongly preferred.
