He/She leads the strategic planning and execution of IT infrastructure services, ensuring reliable, secure, compliant and scalable technology platforms to support business operations. He/She is also responsible for operational and service management processes to ensure quality, efficiency and agility goals are achieved. As a member of the IT senior leadership team, the role contributes to the development and execution of the enterprisewide IT strategy, and ensures its alignment with the enterprise’s business strategy and the delivery of capabilities required to achieve business success. Following the General Counsel strategic guidelines with regard to Cybersecurity, Privacy and compliance, he/she implements robust risk management strategies, safeguarding data integrity and protecting systems against internal and external threats.**Tasks and Responsibilities**- Sets the mission and vision of the I&O organization to foster a business-oriented culture and mindset driven by continual service improvement techniques, and ensures its integration with the overall IT and enterprise strategic plans..- Works with the IT senior leadership team on the service portfolio and governance required to prioritize resources.- Acts as a trusted advisor, and builds and maintains relationships with other IT leaders and business executives to develop a clear understanding of business needs; ensures cost-effective delivery of IT services to meet those needs, and is able to respond with agility to changing business priorities.- Develops and controls the annual operating and capital expenditure budget for I&O to ensure it is consistent with overall strategic objectives of IT and the enterprise and is within plan.- Participates in the assessment of external and internal technology capabilities required to achieve desired competitive positioning.- Maintains currency on new technologies and platforms and provides direction on what emerging technologies should be assimilated, integrated and introduced within I&O.- Champions I&O involvement in the IT organization's innovation efforts and its role in experimenting with new solutions to take advantage of business opportunities.- Provides strategic direction and oversight for the design, development, operation and support of IT systems that fulfill the needs of the business, including the full life cycle of technical architecture, infrastructure engineering, infrastructure operations and IT service support.- Directs the development of I&O sourcing strategy and provides executive oversight for strategic vendor and partner relationship management.- Forecasts future skill needs to acquire and develop an IT workforce that balance between growing digital business objectives and ensuring the core IT functions are reliable, stable and efficient.- Serves on IT planning and policymaking committees; drives the development of enterprise technology standards, governance processes and performance metrics to ensure I&O delivers value to the enterprise.- Provides leadership, coaching and direction to the I&O leadership team and staff.- Enforce security policies, standards, and procedures aligned with regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, GxP), according to the General Counsel guidance.- Oversee risk assessments for IT infrastructure, identifying vulnerabilities and implementing mitigation plans.- Manage incident response processes, including detection, containment, and recovery.- Ensure compliance with cybersecurity frameworks defined by General Counsel.- Collaborate with business units to integrate security into operational processes and projects.- Monitor emerging threats and adapt security posture accordingly.- Contributes to the audits and penetration testing initiatives under the General Counsel leadership.- Maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans for critical systems.**Education**- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. **Specific Knowledge**- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to develop and communicate an I&O vision that inspires and motivates staff and aligns to the IT and business Ability to instill confidence in the business and demonstrate the business value of IT.- Effective influencing and negotiation skills in an environment where resources may not be in direct control of this role.- Excellent analytical, strategic conceptual thinking, strategic planning and execution skills.- Strong business acumen, including industry, domain-specific knowledge of the enterprise and its business units.- Expertise in budget planning and financial management.- Deep understanding of current and emerging I&O technologies and how other enterprises are employing them.- Success in leveraging both traditional best practices, such as IT service management practices based on ITIL, as well as emerging methods like DevOps that are optimized for agility.- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute a strategic people plan that ensures that the right people are in the right roles at the right time and that employees are highly engaged and Strong vendor management and partner relation skills to identify and leverage resources internal and external to the enterprise to enhance capabilities that support business objectives.- Understanding of IT security principles, risk management methodologies, and regulatory compliance.- Understanding of network security, identity and access management, encryption, and vulnerability management principles.- Familiarity with cloud security (general or Azure preferable) and hybrid environments.- Knowledge of GxP and data integrity requirements for regulated environments.**Experience**- 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure & operations leadership.- Typically has 10 to 15 years of IT and business work experience with a broad range of exposure to various technical environments and business segments- Experience with financial management: budget definition and execution/tracking.- Demonstrated experience in strategic planning, organization design and development.- Preferably proven experience or demonstrated capability in leading IT transformational initiatives in complex, cross-functional and dynamic environments.- Preferred experience managing security n regulated industries (pharma).- Hands-on experience with security tools and services (SIEM, SOC, DLP, end point protection).**Competencies*** Building relationships* Change advocate* Communication* Influencing others, Innovation* Results orientation* Risk Management* Adaptability* Decision-Making under pressure.Estamos construyendo el futuro de la dermatología médica poniendo el foco en las necesidades no cubiertas de los pacientes y dando a las personas el espacio para pensar de forma independiente, asumir responsabilidades y generar un impacto que de verdad importe.Si te implicas de otra manera, este es tu lugar.
