THE ROLE
The Junior Accountant will assist the Iberia finance team in further developing accounting processes and will play a key role in running day‑to‑day accounting activities. The role requires someone who can work independently on routine accounting tasks and processes, with a significant focus on Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, daily sales‑to‑cash reconciliations, bank reconciliations and general ledger accounting. This is an opportunity to be an integral part of the team tasked with running back‑office finance operations for the company’s growing business in Iberia.

Essential Functions
- General Ledger Accounting
- Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- Daily reconciliation of sales, cash, and credit card transactions as well as bank reconciliations
- Month‑end procedures
- Assist the Accounting Manager in developing and coordinating accounting processes
- Build solid working relationships with local internal business partners (e.g. procurement, marketing, operations)
- Assistance with annual audit process
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
- Support in‑venue cash management operations during events
Qualifications
- Minimum 2–3 years of accounting experience, preferably in hospitality or retail
- University degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required, and/or professional accounting qualification
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and other MS Office software required
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail essential
- Highly analytical, able to think creatively and proactively in continuous process improvement
- Ability to multi‑task and prioritize in a deadline‑oriented environment
- Knowledge of POS, procurement systems, or ERP is a plus
- Good level of English (verbal and written)
