Business Developer Innovations - South Europe
Do you have a proven track record in launching crop protection products and building strong networks in the agri-sector? Are you fluent in Spanish or Italian and eager to bring innovative solutions to market? At Globachem, we’re looking for a Business Developer Innovations with deep roots in the crop protection industry to help us grow our footprint in Southern Europe.
A challenging job content
* You are responsible for the development and the commercialization of Globachem’s own innovative crop protection products in the different South-European countries.
* You provide market insights, map competition and competing products.
* Together with the responsible sales manager, you select the distribution partners and set pricing.
* You lead pre-launch initiatives and support distributors to ensure successful product introductions through demo trials, technical training, and presentations.
* You build and maintain a solid network of distributors, CROs, advisors, and industry influencers.
* You coordinate annual trial plans to meet regulatory, crop safety, compatibility, and sales requirements.
* You represent Globachem at local congresses and symposiums.
* You work closely with colleagues from Sales & Marketing, and across departments such as R&D, Product Development, Regulatory, and Supply Chain.
* You are part of the Sales & Marketing department and report to the Project Accelerator Innovations at our Headquarters in Belgium.
Key skills and qualifications
* You have a degree in Agronomy, Bio-engineering, or a related field.
* You have at least 7 years of experience in a technical-commercial role in crop protection, including launching new products.
* You possess good knowledge of perennial crops (fruit, citrus, olives).
* You are fluent in Spanish or Italian (native level) and English. Other languages are a plus.
* You are based in Southern Europe (Spain, Italy, etc.) and are flexible to travel frequently within the region and to Belgium.
* You are a strong communicator with excellent negotiation skills.
* You apply a strategic and commercial approach to your projects.
