The purpose of the Sales department is to secure long-term sales relationships with Vestas customers, as well as to identify and pursue supply sales opportunities, from initial screening and quotation to successfully negotiating and closing contracts. Responsibilities • Support the internal and external dialogue with customers to ensure good understanding of customers projects in their pipeline. • Support the Sales team in the screening and evaluation of sales opportunities. • Coordinate and support bid preparations and negotiations. • Evaluating the requirements and designing a solution in coordination with other functions that meets the requirement for the bid • Establishing bid proposal value, including direct costs, subcontractor/vendor costs, overhead, other costs, contingencies, using internal tools and supporting internal stakeholder interfaces involved in the sales process (technical, financial, pricing, legal, construction and service). • Scoping, optimisation, cost assessment, benchmarking, risk analysis and consolidating the required info for analysis • Organising bid proposals' documents to meet RFP requirements. Structure, develop, edit and write proposal sections per RFP requirements • Project management of all cross functional departments.as well as of the sales process throughout the bidding process, ensuring timely passage through the stages of the sales process • Ensure involvement of internal stakeholders during execution of the sales strategy • Provide contract closing and negotiation support to the Sales Manager • Investigate and document outcome of sales opportunity • Creating and maintaining opportunities in Salesforce ensuring data quality targets are met for the department Qualifications • Bachelor's Degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical or similar) • Significant educational background within a relevant business, engineering or finance degree at Master level, supplemented by an MBA • 2 years of similar experience in the energy industry, machinery, construction or related environment, large infrastructure projects or large manufactured products. Competencies • Commercial oriented with specific customer focus • High communication and negotiation skills. • Superior technical capabilities • A team worker who is willing to learn and develop • Ability to work internationally and willing to work with large demanding customers. • Fluently in English.
