What We're Looking For
Key responsibilities:
1. Design and evolve scalable and reusable mobile infrastructure, tooling, and shared components to accelerate development across all mobile apps in the Welltech portfolio.
2. Build and maintain libraries, SDKs, CI/CD pipelines, tooling, etc. to improve developer experience and apps reliability.
3. Partner closely with product engineering teams to understand their needs and drive adoption of platform solutions.
4. Drive architecture and technical standards across product engineering teams, advocating for clean abstractions, modularization and testability by design.
5. Lead by example through hands-on coding, documentation, and mentoring.
6. Identify common problems across apps and solve them in a consistent, scalable way.
7. Ensure high-quality, testable, and performant code across the shared mobile platform and tooling.
8. Collaborate cross-functionally with backend, frontend, security, and infrastructure teams to enable seamless integration and platform alignment.
Required skills:
1. Deep expertise in iOS development with a strong grasp of Swift, including concurrency, networking, persistence, and performance optimization.
2. Strong experience with TCA and composable, modular UI architectures.
3. Excellent understanding of architectural patterns (MVVM, MVI, DI) and modular codebases.
4. Proven ability to craft clean, maintainable, and scalable code.
5. Strong ability to design for reliability, scalability, and performance.
6. Track record of building internal tools, shared components, or platform features at scale.
7. Strong advocate of technical patterns and solutions that optimize for experimentation speed (e.g. modularization, high cohesion/low coupling).
8. Strong experience with CI/CD best practices and tooling (e.g. Bitrise, Fastlane, custom pipelines).
9. Experience implementing and advocating for methodologies that support fast iteration and high dev productivity (e.g. eXtreme Programming, Trunk Based Development, CI/CD mindset, BDD, TDD).
10. Strong advocate of design for testability, automated testing, and shift-left quality mindset.
11. Passion for developer experience and enabling teams to move faster and safer.
12. Product-minded approach with a bias for pragmatic, maintainable solutions.
13. Ability to influence without formal authority and communicate clearly across teams.
Nice to have:
1. Experience with backend development.
2. Experience with backend-driven UI.
