In this position you will be part of the Power Electronics Transversal Team (PTT) within the development group eSTC (electronics Spain Technical Center).
You will be responsible for the coordination of the development in our power electronics projects, managing the activities of the cross functional team (HW, SW, ECU Design and HW/SW Integration Test) setting clear goals, objectives (considering scope, quality, budget, time) and delivery targets.
For that, you are expected to prepare and follow up the electronics development release plan and timing within product/customer APQP milestones, defining and planning work packages and enabling the scope clarifications needed. You must follow up the cost and manage the internal development prototypes, tests with a third party and assessments. You are also expected to monitor the work of our suppliers in your project.
You will be the main interface between the System and Mechanics teams in other BW locations and our electronics development team, ensuring the correct and timed flow of inputs and outputs between them. Support the correspondent System Project Lead with customer contact is also expected.
In order to guarantee the success of the project, you must monitor risks and main problems, making sure that preventive and corrective actions are set and closed, collecting the lessons learnt, and also being aware of opportunities. Besides, you are also responsible for the assessment, agreement, task allocation and follow up of any change request.
Program status reporting to management is a task of this position as well as problem/risk escalation.

KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Coordination of projects at E/E level (HW, SW, ECU Design and HW/SW Integration Test).
* Scheduling, organizing and logging the needed meetings among the team members.
* Scope clarification with internal/external customer.
* Maintaining the schedule and release plan, analyzing trends for each milestone and managing all needed resources for the electronics development assigned to the project.
* Follow up costs.
* Manage development prototypes, audits and tests and other suppliers.
* Being the interface person between the System and Mechanics teams in other BW locations and the electronics development team in your location.
* Ensure the transparent flow of information, documentation and responsibility at each stage of the project from contract award and initial prototype testing through to PPAP completion, SOP and beyond.
* Mitigate all risks and be aware of any opportunities.
* Monitor project issues.
* Ensure that lessons are learnt and fedback into the contract award stages for future projects.
* Provide clear action plans and status reports with named responsibilities and deadlines for presentation to senior management, customers, department heads, and project team members alike.
* Ensure that any changes to the project plans are fully assessed and any impact to cost, schedule, quality and technical requirement are reviewed, understood and agreed with the needed stakeholders.
* Have full understanding of all the project status at all times, which enables the correct reporting to management.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
* Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics Engineering or studies related (Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, etc.)
* Language skills (must):
o Spanish high level proficient user
o English (fluent read, write, speak)
o German (highly valuable)
* Experience working in the Automotive industry
Valuable:
* Program management experience in automotive or electronic industry with proven leadership skills.
* Experience in software development or software project management.
* PMP certification
* Agile training
* Trained and experienced in Automotive SPICE or CMMI
* Trained and experienced in ISO 26262 (or Safety)
* Microsoft Project and Excel advanced user
