Responsibilities
1. Translate the production plan into mid- to long-term Material Requirements Plan, ensuring material availability based on forecasts.
2. Ensure correct ordering of materials in terms of quantity and timing, optimizing order size and minimizing obsolescence.
3. Maintain MRP parameters, aggregate cross-category requirements, and address MRP exceptions according to the production schedule.
4. Collaborate with suppliers and conduct Rough Cut Capacity Planning to support production at effective costs.
5. Support inventory analysis by reviewing policies, managing slow-movers, and monitoring obsoletes.
6. Maintain manufacturing parameters and identify sourcing risks or opportunities, escalating issues as needed.
7. Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance planning performance.
Qualifications
* Background in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related fields; Master's degree preferred.
* 4-5 years experience in material management.
* Proficiency in Excel, SAP, Power BI, or similar analytical tools.
* Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
* Team-oriented with a proactive attitude towards process and project improvement.
