In this essential role, a Business Manager - BL Linac Solutions & QA Solutions Portfolio is responsible to enabling, facilitating and driving sales of Elekta Linac Solutions and QA portfolio in Region Europe.
**What you’ll do at Elekta**
The Business Manager for REU Business Line Linac Solution plays a key customer-facing role and should be able to use clinical, operational, financial, and technical knowledge to explain, demonstrate and sell the benefits of Elekta’s REU Business Line Linac Solution portfolio.
The responsibilities of a Business Manager - BL Linac Solutions & QA Solutions Portfolio include (but are not limited to):
- Supports the BL Leader and Sales Director, Clusters to develop a strategic plan per county and support on successful implementation of the short
- and long-term plan (including support on country-specific sales activities, programs, and marketing activities).
- Identify and develop sales opportunities of the REU Business Line Linac Solution business, to both the installed base and new customers through direct sales activities, through the cluster and through agents/distributors in close collaboration with the local sales teams.
- Support the cluster sales teams and customers with in-depth product expertise including product presentations, sales pitches, customer visits, demos, internal training.
- Provide internal support to the local sales teams in resolving REU Business Line Linac Solution related issues, manage any challenges that arise and continuously strive to ensure that customers are satisfied with the services delivered by Elekta throughout the sales process (improving customers satisfaction).
- Support the full utilization and adoption of CLM in the relevant geography including Salesforce and commercial quotes within Oracle.
- Support product launches in the region with a focus on defining targets in the market, planning, and implementing a sales strategy together with the local sales team.
- Work alongside the local sales teams and marketing to develop and maintain relationships with prospective and existing customers, including developing REU Business Line Linac Solution customers as valuable references sites for.
- Acquire and prioritize customer requirements for products and services to the Business Line (product management) while ensuring the voice of the customer and market is reflected.
- Work with marketing to identify where adaptation of international REU Business Line Linac Solution sales material for the region is required and represent Elekta at conferences, symposiums, shows and other events as required.
- Follow quality and safety procedures in line with company policy and industry regulations.
- To propose pricing, configurations, and solutions for REU Business Line Linac Solution and associated services and products to the customers
- To take decisions to secure sales within the company guidelines

- Bachelor’s Degree (clinical or business oriented) or equivalent knowledge acquired through business experience.
- Proven sales and negotiation experience within capital medical equipment and/or medical devices industry
- Minimum 5 years successful sales experience.
- Ability to work both strategically as well as operationally. This includes the ability to interact directly with customers across all disciplines (technologist, medical physicist, radiation oncologist, administrator, C-level) and build/maintain strong customer relationships.
- Solid knowledge and experience of the medical devices industry, imaging and Radiotherapy experience is preferred. Ideally knowledge and understanding of oncology and clinical workflows.
- Skilled speaker and representative in social contacts and ability to communicate with multi-disciplinary professions at all levels of authority.
