Reliability, Maintenance and Engineering (RME) is hiring for a Regional Maintenance Manager!

Amazon is seeking a candidate to provide strategic and tactical leadership over maintenance, repair, and vendor management operations to support the Fulfillment Center business across the Brazilian market.
Join us in the Amazon Reliability Maintenance Engineering team. We maintain and optimize technologies in the Global Amazon Warehouse & Delivery Network.
Key job responsibilities
The Regional Maintenance Manager will manage multiple complex projects and tasks simultaneously, influence, negotiate, and develop relationships at all levels of the organization. Additionally, they must be a highly skilled vendor management professional.
Responsibilities Include:
* Supplier relationship management
* Manage operational relationships with third parties, delivery station support teams, and internal operations business partners
* Identify opportunities to improve costs and efficiencies with our vendors
* Provide input and execute standard operational procedures
* Demonstrated ability to indirectly influence external service providers to successful outcomes
* Be committed to learning and expanding professional and technical knowledge
* Demonstrated analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop business cases
* Ability to clearly communicate data insights and execute positive change
* Use root cause analysis to eliminate maintenance problems
* Identify savings opportunities, leverage industry best practices, and foster greater efficiencies through partnerships and technology innovations
* Manage vendor relationships and establish yourself as a primary business contact for key suppliers
Travel requirement: 50-75%, based on business needs.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
* Reliability Program Manager or equivalent experience
* Bachelor's degree
* Flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays
* Experience with MS Excel, Word, and Office
* Fluent English skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Experience in team management, budgeting, supplier management, problem-solving, and client/customer relations
* Experience with preventive maintenance, industrial electrical, controls, electronics, and robotics
