Responsibilities
* Be a trusted NFR advisor towards IT and Business management.
* Support, challenge and monitor NFR risk management processes and quality.
* Participate in and challenge risk assessments on key strategic projects and programs.
* Support the Business and IT management on issue identification, risk rating assessment, action definition and follow‑up until issue solving.
* Contribute to the development, maintenance and rollout of the NFR Frameworks, Policies, Minimum Standards and Procedures.
* Perform Quality Assurance or deep‑dive reviews as part of second‑line monitoring.
* Identify external / internal developments, initiatives and threats; translate them proactively into the risk strategy.
* Monitor the design and effectiveness of controls.
* Contribute to the identification of the impact of and coordination of responses to law and regulatory changes, ECB reports, etc. and monitor follow‑up of regulatory issue solving.
* Support the Head of NFR with research, assessing the risk profile of the organization and reporting to Senior Management.
* Generate awareness related to risk management within the organization.
* Develop and maintain training modules and train the IT / business community.
Qualifications
* Approximate 5+ years of experience working in Non‑Financial Risk.
* University degree or equivalent.
* Professional education and multiple international certifications for risk management.
* Insight into digital banking processes, IT applications and regulations; specific experience in Business banking.
* Experience in end‑to‑end process analysis to identify and assess NFR risks, including root‑cause analysis.
* Expertise in testing methodologies.
* Collaboration skills and ability to work across functions and countries.
* Sound risk criteria: ability to be firm when needed and show flexibility when possible.
* Excellent analytical skills.
* Fluent in English (written and spoken).
* Pro‑activeness, initiative, communication and influence, persuasiveness and assertiveness.
