Are you an experienced employment lawyer with an international mindset and a track record of success in complex environments? Would you like to take on a high-impact leadership role within one of the most relevant multinational technology companies in the market? Sibils Consulting is delighted to present an exciting opportunity for a Legal Director – Employment Law.

The company operates across multiple markets in Europe, Africa and Latin America and is experiencing strong growth within a highly regulated environment at the intersection of technology, logistics and the collaborative economy. The Legal function plays a strategic role in supporting the business, ensuring regulatory compliance, managing labour relations and enabling a sustainable and responsible growth model.

This role will have a significant impact on shaping the company's employment law strategy in Spain and supporting its long-term business objectives.

You will lead and manage a highly qualified legal team of 8 employment lawyers, reporting directly to the General Counsel. You will also work closely with senior stakeholders across the business and maintain strong relationships with partners from the employment law practices of some of the most prestigious law firms in the market.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead the Employment Law team and oversee HR-related legal matters.
* Act as a strategic legal partner to the business and product teams, providing innovative and pragmatic solutions.
* Design and implement a legal compliance framework for Third Party Logistics (3PL).
* Manage litigation, arbitration proceedings and labour disputes.
* Anticipate legal risks and define mitigation and prevention strategies.
* Recommend and execute litigation or settlement strategies when appropriate.
* Develop initiatives aimed at reducing legal risk and associated costs.
* Manage relationships with works councils, employee representatives and trade unions.
* Influence business operations and product development through effective, forward-looking legal advice.

Requirements

* Law degree and Master's degree in Employment / Labour Law.
* Spanish-qualified lawyer with more than 15 years of experience, ideally gained within a top-tier law firm.
* Previous exposure to a corporate and/or technology-driven environment.
* Fluent Spanish and English (written and spoken).
* Proven experience leading and developing legal teams.
* Strong executive-level communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Hands-on, organised, pragmatic and solution-oriented profile.
* International mindset and ability to operate in complex, fast-paced environments.
