We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented professional with a strong sense of ownership and a hands-on attitude to join us as an Accounts Receivable Team Leader at our HQs located in Barcelona.
Responsibilities :
Oversee and manage consumer finance operations across multiple geographies, including partnerships with providers such as Buyline, Payment Assist, Cofidis, Lendiplan and other platforms.
Monitor and control payment flows from platforms such as Shopify, Payhawk, and Brex for various entities (DrSmile, Impress, DW and future acquisitions).
Act as primary contact for POS systems and providers (Adyen, Stripe, SumUp, etc) — ensuring devices are managed and payment issues resolved.
Maintain oversight of revenue cycle activities in the US, including payment posting, insurance revenue tracking, and collaboration with the US RCM team.
Ensure proper chargeback management and refund tracking, working with Factoring provider’s data, Superset dashboards, and monthly reconciliation files.
Coordinate with the Data and Accounting teams to maintain accurate CF reporting, dashboards, and monthly/weekly performance files (retention, country reports).
Manage compliance obligations and reporting related to FCA UK, ensuring internal controls are in place to maintain licensing and resolve complaints.
Track Risky factorings providers chargebacks, ensuring payments are executed on time and within contract terms.
Work closely with the legal and compliance teams to address UK complaint resolution and CCJ risks that may affect financing agreements.
Support consumer finance contract compliance, ensuring refunds and repayments are processed on time to avoid penalties or contract termination.
Drive operational best practices, collaborating with teams to uphold efficiency and excellence.
Lead and mentor clinic staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
Support professional development initiatives to enhance team capabilities.
Lead by example, driving a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
Requirements:
Experience working in fast-paced and high-growth companies, preferably in scale-ups or startup environments.
A dynamic and hands-on background, capable of adapting quickly to changing priorities and working cross-functionally.
Proven track record in leading finance or revenue operations, ideally in multi-country or multi-entity contexts.
Solid understanding of consumer finance, revenue cycle management, and payment platforms (e.g. Adyen, Stripe, Shopify, Payhawk, Brex).
Familiarity with factoring, chargeback management, and regulatory compliance (e.g. FCA UK, CCJs, consumer finance agreements).
Strong analytical skills and experience working with dashboards, KPIs, and reporting tools.
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across legal, data, and accounting teams .
Fluent in English and Spanish; other languages are a plus.
A positive mindset and leadership skills to motivate and mentor team members across locations.
