We are looking for a Senior SAP FI-CO Consultant for a global biotechnology company designing, developing and manufacturing analytical solutions for in-vitro diagnostics (IVD) and industrial applications.
Operating in more than 100 markets with direct presence in 17 countries, the company is currently driving a global digital transformation program centered around SAP S/4HANA (RISE).
This position is part of the Digital IT Department, reporting to the Digital IT Director, and plays a key role in the international SAP rollout strategy led from HQs in Barcelona.
Mission of the RoleWe are looking for a Senior SAP FI-CO Consultant, with a strong focus on FI, to lead international SAP rollouts and act as a real driver of change across subsidiaries.
This is not a pure support role — it is a high-impact implementation position with strong ownership and international visibility.
The consultant will:
Lead international rollouts
Translate local accounting and fiscal requirements into the global SAP template defined in HQ
Act as a bridge between business stakeholders, local implementation partners and internal technical teams
Ensure strong FI integration with MM, SD and operational modules
Support the professionalization of financial processes across countries
The SAP team consists of 6 professionals working in different modules:
3 Functional Consultants
3 Technical Consultants
They also have support of external consultants.
The team works in a results-oriented environment, with clear objectives, project deadlines and daily follow-ups.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end SAP FI-CO rollouts in multicountry environments
Align local charts of accounts with the global corporate template
Manage blueprint, configuration, UATs and post-go-live support
Coordinate with local implementation partners
Ensure integration with other modules
Contribute to closing processes and financial integration topics
Participate in medium/long-term SAP strategy and cost optimization initiatives
Actively contribute to internal change management
Requirements
Strong experience in SAP FI (financial integration, accounting processes, closing cycles)
Experience in full-cycle implementations (consulting background is highly valued)
Experience in international rollouts and working with global templates
TravelTravel is planned and agreed in advance with the team.
