Overview
Customer Project Manager role at Nokia. Nokia Cloud and Network Services (CNS) creates value for communication service providers and enterprise customers by leading the transition to cloud-native software and as-a-service delivery models. You will deliver projects and programs within agreed scope, budget, schedule, and quality, while nurturing strong customer relationships.
As a Customer Project Manager, you will liaise with external customers and partners, and Nokia stakeholders across Business Delivery, Technical, Solutions Architecture, Care, Engineering, Sales, Finance, Procurement, Logistics, and R&D teams.
Responsibilities
* Manage projects and programs through all phases, from delivery approach identification to completion, including closure and handover.
* Lead a project / program team and manage stakeholders and resources;
interact with customer and partner organizations.
* Be accountable for overall project / program success, including customer satisfaction, financial results, contractual obligations, quality, service delivery performance, and health & safety activities.
* Plan and execute end-to-end project / program communication, risk management, change control, and opportunity management.
* Ensure project / program information is up to date and quality is maintained in project-related tools and repositories.
* Participate in the sales process and explore upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
Key Skills and Experience
* Extensive recent relevant experience (7–10 years) managing projects / programs for mobile telecommunications, in 4G / 5G domains and cloud-as-a-service (fCaaS) models.
* Ability to work independently with little guidance and adapt to processes.
* Experience working with external customers, partners, and cross-functional teams.
* Strong interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills;
ability to engage senior management on important matters.
* Budget knowledge and ability to forecast financial performance for a project.
* Ability to distill the big picture, anticipate risks and opportunities, make decisions, and prioritize work.
* Understanding of scope, cost, schedule, risk, and opportunities;
able to create and maintain mitigation plans.
* Influence across functions on project-related matters.
* Ability to manage multiple topics simultaneously and maintain good stress tolerance.
* Fluency in English (speaking and writing).
* Project Management Certification (e.G., PMI / PMP).
* EU citizenship, ability to travel, and compliance with security requirements.
* Availability to travel in Europe, approximately 20% of the time.
