Job Summary:
The Deposit Sales Officer is responsible for the overall management and performance of the branch, combining operational excellence with strategic business development and sales execution. This role ensures effective day-to-day operations, compliance with banking standards, and achievement of branch sales targets—particularly in the growth of CASA (Current and Savings Account) deposits.
Responsibilities
Oversee and direct the daily operations of the branch, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery to our customers
Develop and implement strategies to attract new clients, retain existing customers, and grow the branch's deposit and loan portfolio.
Manage and mentor a team of branch personnel, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to ensure a high-performing and engaged workforce
Collaborate with other branches and departments to share best practices and identify opportunities for process improvements
Monitor branch performance metrics and implement corrective actions to achieve business goals
Ensure compliance with all relevant banking regulations, policies, and procedures
Participate in the planning and execution of marketing and promotional activities to increase the branch's visibility and market share
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar branch management or banking leadership role, preferably in the retail banking sector
Proven track record of driving branch business growth, managing a team, and delivering exceptional customer service
Strong understanding of retail banking operations, products, and services, as well as a keen awareness of the local market dynamics
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills to effectively engage with customers, team members, and stakeholders
Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and performance management
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing business needs
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field
