We are seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join Tetra Pak Iberia in Burgos. The primary areas of work include: Burgos, Castilla-León, Madrid, La Rioja, Navarra, and across Spain and Portugal. Occasionally, travel to Angola and Cape Verde may be required.
The successful candidate will deliver high-quality technical services and support to our customers, ensuring efficient resolution of issues. This role offers an excellent opportunity to expand your knowledge in mechanics, electronics, and automation by servicing client sites. It is ideal for early-career professionals eager to grow within a market-leading company. You will have numerous opportunities to visit and connect with Tetra Pak Iberia's major clients.
This position requires extensive travel, exceeding 90% of the time.

Responsibilities
* Install and commission processing equipment at customer sites
* Perform PLC and HMI programming
* Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance (electrical, mechanical, pneumatic)
* Troubleshoot and resolve faults onsite and via phone
* Supervise production and train operators at customer sites
* Maintain positive customer relationships, supporting and following up on concerns
Candidate Profile
* Bachelor's degree or technical diploma in electronic or electro-mechanical engineering
* 1-2 years' experience in electro-mechanical and pneumatic industrial maintenance
* 1-2 years' experience with PLC, electrical, and electronic systems
* Proficiency in Siemens S7-300 / TIA Portal programming
* Knowledge of Rockwell and/or Beckhoff automation software is a plus
* Ability to repair machines onsite
* Willingness to travel extensively (over 90%)
* Fluent in Spanish and proficient in English (reporting skills essential)
* Portuguese language skills are advantageous
* Valid driver's license
* Strong computer skills, especially MS Office
* Customer-focused mindset with a business-oriented approach
* Ability to work independently and in a team
