He coordinates all automation projects and initiatives. He provides cost-effective and efficient technical solutions, standards, strategies and act as a competence center for automation and interface to IT. He will support troubleshooting of existing processes onsite.**Work location**: La Almunia de Doña Godina (Zaragoza)**Major accountabilities**:- Develop & design Process Control Systems. Develop & implement Coding / Recipes (DCS / Scada / PLC's / Control Networks)- Design, implement & maintain Historian Configuration for modules / visualization / OPEX. Design and implement Master Batch Records (MBR) for MES.- Implement Software Change Controls associated with automation / system changes. Establish & maintain Computer Systems Life Cycle Management. Investigate deviations (Root Cause Analysis).- Establish & maintain new / modified end-to-end OT services / processes / procedures for Automation / Manufacturing / QC equipment. Develop & deliver OT activities (e.G. Backup & Recovery / Patch Management / Remote Access / User Access).- Mantain a robust and compliant Software Validation Plan for equipment (qualified) onsite.- Work together with other engineers onsite to optimize and cost to existing projects, contracts and other engineering activities onsite.- Drive / improve technical availability, reliability and condition of assets and equipment onsite (maintenance & calibration, process improvement). Drive optimization of software equipment and simplify process control systems.- Drive / improve Technical Services (infrastructure, utilities), availability, reliability. Ing. / M. Sc. / B. Sc.) or equivalent (Automation, IT, Electronic, Industrial, Mechanical)- 3-5 years of engineering experience in Automation inPharmaceutical industry- Leadership experience for the management of external resources- Project management skills including resource planning, budget control & quality.- Proven in resolving software /automation problems & maintain reliable operation of all building control / automation and related systems.- Own and develop automation solutions that are consistent with specific needs of the manufacturing environment while complying and supporting the global standards.
